Do you love journalling, mini books, and making things yourself? I do!
Do you love easy to make, simple, inexpensive projects? I do!
Better yes, do you LOVE those Amy Tangerine daybook? I do!
If you said yes to any of those questions, this is the project for you! This was a super easy to make, quick project. I made this in one evening.
The first thing I did was to print out some printable journalling sheets. They are attached at the bottom of this post in pdf form. I don't remember where I got these from. I have had them for awhile and just never used them. I did search and try to find the blog again before posting this but was not able to find it.
Once I printed out those sheets, I gathered some scraps of various sized coordinating paper and then stacked all the printouts and paper in the order I wanted them to be in my book.
For the cover, I used and 8 1/2 x 11 piece of kraft card stock and added some width by adding a border punched edge to the front and back covers. This was to cover the expanding width when the 8 1/2 x 11 inches card stock from the printables was stacked and folded in half. This was meant to be a mini journal so I didn't want to make signatures to avoid the expansion. The book cover measures 4 1/4 x 6.
To hold the journal together, I simply punched holes in the center spine about 1 1/2 inches from the top and the bottom.
